Q: Why use Call Select?
A: Call Select provides cost savings on Long Distance calling to anywhere in the world. Call Select offers Equal Access (Direct Dial) Service which allows customers to dial directly to the long distance destination without entering any PIN numbers or Access numbers.

Our long distance rates are possibly the lowest available and you save on every minute you talk to family, friends and associates.

Q: What is Equal Access?
A: Equal Access Service (EQA), also known as Direct Dial Service is one of the products that Call Select offers to its customers as a way to save money on both their International and North American long distance phone calls. This method is also known as direct dialing as the customer does not have to dial any extra digits to access the Call Select international network.

Q: Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
A: NO - All you have to do is complete the application form. NO CONTRACT is required.

Q: How do I use Call Select Equal Access long distance service?
A: Simple - With Call Select Equal Access service there are no extra 10-10 XXXXX or local access numbers that need to be dialed before a North American or International call is placed. Just dial 1+ area code for North American calls or 011+ country code for overseas calls. The call connects and you can speak for as long or as short as you like.

NO PINS to enter NO CONNECTION FEES, AND NO MAINTENANCE FEES.

Q: How many phone numbers can I register?
A: The system will accept any number of different phone numbers but we recommend up to FIVE per account. All numbers registered must be owned by the registering customer. Do not register work phone numbers unless you own the company.

Q: Can I use my CELLULAR phone on Call Select?
A: YES -Our Call N Save long distance service allows you to use your cell phone to make long distance calls at the same low rate. This is a Dial Up service.

Q: What fine print should I read very carefully?
A: NOTHING - Call Select does NOT have any FINE PRINT. With Call Select there are:

  • NO CONTRACTS
  • NO COMMITMENTS
  • NO GIMMICKS
  • NO SURCHARGES
  • NO HIDDEN CHARGES
  • RATES ARE THE SAME 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK

Q: Do I have many different plans to choose from?
A: We offer our standard POSTPAID service - You control the amount of long distance used and we will bill you each month for the long distance charges plus taxes. Rates are charged by the minute and we only charge for the minutes used.

Q: Is Call Select a prepaid phone card using PINs?
A: NO - Call Select is a post paid service. There is no PIN numbers or dial-up numbers to press.

Q: Do you charge by the minute?
A: YES-You pay only for the Long Distance calls you make on a per minute basis at the latest rates.

Q: How to pay your long distance bill?
A: You can send cheque or money order to: Call Select, P.O Box 48227 595 Burrad Street, Vancouver, B.C. Canada. V7X 1N8. Do not mail cash.

Bank: Most major financial institutions and bank machines will accept payments for Call Select invoices. Please contact your banks to confirm.

Telephone and Internet Payments: You can now pay your bill online at the following banks:

  • TD Canada Trust
  • BC Credit Union
  • HSBC

Preauthorized payments: Invoices can be paid by using our Preauthorized Payment service from your credit card or your checkings account.
